Why You’ll Love Working Here
If you’re a dentist looking for a practice where you can stay busy, do quality dentistry, and work alongside a capable, supportive team, this opportunity is worth a closer look. Advanced Dental Care of Springfield is a long-standing private practice with deep roots in the community and a reputation for delivering excellent patient care, serving many anxious patients who value a thoughtful, compassionate approach.
You’ll be stepping into a practice with real infrastructure already in place. With roughly 5,500 active patients and around 100 new patients per month, you will have a consistently full schedule. The systems are dialed in, and the workflow is predictable, allowing you to focus on dentistry rather than scrambling to stay busy.
The clinical team is a significant strength of this practice. Assistants are highly trained, cross-trained, and comfortable supporting a wide range of procedures. Hygiene and administrative handoffs are smooth, and the environment is fast-paced without feeling chaotic. This is a practice that balances efficiency and quality.
Mentorship is available and flexible, tailored to the associate’s goals. While IV sedation and surgical procedures are part of the practice, they are not required for success here. If you’re interested in expanding into those areas over time, support and experience are available—but the primary focus is on finding a strong general dentist who communicates well and takes pride in their work.
Springfield offers a balanced lifestyle, a lower cost of living, and a strong sense of community. Located within driving distance of Chicago and St. Louis, it provides access to big-city amenities while maintaining a relaxed pace of life with parks, lakes, and outdoor recreation.
What We Value
- Patient-First Dentistry – Many of our patients experience dental anxiety and place a high level of trust in the practice. We prioritize thorough exams, clear explanations, and compassionate care over rushing through appointments.
- Strong Communication – Success here depends on listening well, explaining treatment clearly, and building genuine rapport with both patients and teammates. Emotional intelligence matters just as much as clinical skill.
- Clinical Pride & Growth – We value dentists who care about delivering high-quality dentistry and continually improving. Growth is encouraged, but always at a sustainable pace.
- Team Collaboration – Our long-tenured team works efficiently and supports one another. Mutual respect, professionalism, and a good sense of humor go a long way here.

Why This Job Stands Out
- Consistent Patient Flow
This is a high-production practice with a large, established patient base and steady growth. You won’t need to build a schedule from scratch. The demand is already there.
- Support Without Micromanagement
You’ll be trusted to practice dentistry with support from experienced assistants and leadership. The systems are in place, but autonomy is respected. It’s a professional environment built on mutual trust.
- Optional Clinical Expansion
Opportunities exist to expand into procedures like IV sedation or advanced surgery over time. This growth is available, not mandatory. You can shape your role based on your interests and comfort level.
- Sustainable Schedule
The practice is open to a 3–4 day workweek, with a focus on long-term sustainability. High production does not come at the expense of burnout.
- Stable, Long-Term Fit
This is not a short-term associate role. The goal is to find someone who wants to settle in, grow with the practice, and build lasting relationships with patients and the team.
